A SIP trunk is a virtual phone line between your PBX and the public telephone network. This allows calls to travel over your internet connection, and so reduces or eliminates the need for expensive ISDN circuits.

Enterprise Voice Quality
We only use proven designs to ensure fast call set up and enterprise voice quality is delivered on every call, every time

Only pay for the capacity that you need
SIP can provide any number of channels, in increments of one. The only limit is your available bandwidth.

Fast Provisioning
Koris can provision new trunks to an existing user within 4 working hours of your instructions allowing complete flexibility in the event of an unexpected increase in call volumes.

Koris do not charge a connection fee for new trunks to a SIP enabled site. We will also allow SIP trunks to be reduced to allow for seasonal variation or changed usage

Increased Resilience
SIP Trunking will increase the resilience of your telephony estate by eliminating its dependency on individual ISDN circuits. Koris recommend the retention of ISDN channels to give an additional layer of resilience.

SIP versus ISDN call tariffs
A SIP call is normally 2 – 10% cheaper than an equivalent call routed over an ISDN or analogue exchange line. A SIP call is routed directly to the carriers core network, avoiding the various interconnect and transit costs that a carrier incurs for a PSTN routed call.

Flexible Numbering
Existing geographic telephone numbers that are migrated to a SIP trunk delivery will effectively become non geographic numbers. This allows existing numbers to be retained when offices are moving or closing, without the need for expensive call diverts.

Free site to site calls
Calls between your SIP equipped sites are free of charge.
