The roadmap for Unified Communications (or “Intelligent Communications” in MS language) has just been made more thought-provoking with the news that Skype for Business Online will be subsumed into Teams. Also announced is discontinuation of support for 3rd party PBXs in Exchange Online from 2019.
What does this mean for you? Is it still possible to retain control over PSTN and use Teams? How and when do you migrate away from a legacy PBX environment and how far should you go down the cloud route?
