As always, Koris is continuing to grow and strengthen our teams, ensuring our ServiceFirst ethos is at the heart of everything we do. Isabelle Burton (or Izzie) joins our Finance department. Ben Lane joins our Business Generation team fresh out of Birmingham University where he graduated with a master’s degree in Geography. In his spare time, Ben enjoys running, long walks and reading. Ben also has a passion for cooking.

Paul James has joined from Brocade, a vendor of Networking hardware and software solutions. Paul’s career started with 10 years in the Royal Navy as an Electronic Warfare engineer, Since then his career has largely specialised in Business Development in IT infrastructure. He is a keen sailor and in 2006 sailed across the Atlantic. He enjoys cycling, skiing and climbing and also endures running and swimming (strictly to burn off pesky calories).

Lync becomes Skype for Business

After a long and anticipated wait, Microsoft finally revealed that Lync had made the change to Skype for Business. With a new client experience, new server release and updates to the service in Office 365, we believe that Skype for Business will transform the way people communicate by giving organisations reach to hundreds of millions of Skype users outside the walls of their business. At the same time, Skype for Business keeps and improves on all of the capabilities of Lync, including content sharing and telephony. For example, transferring a call now takes only one touch or click instead of three.
